About Our Pastor
Albert Lee Bussey, Jr.

Pastor Bussey was born in Miami, Florida, on January 30, 1966, to Bishop Albert L. Bussey, Sr. (deceased) and Pastor Evangelist Wilma J. Bussey. At an early age, his family moved to Valdosta, Georgia to start a ministry there.

He is a 1984 Senior Superlative graduate of Lowndes County High School, Valdosta, and a 1988 graduate of Valdosta State University where he received his Bachelor of Music Degree.  Presently, Pastor Bussey is employed by the Ware County Board of Education where he serves as Associate Director of Bands at Ware County High School.  He also serves as faculty advisor and director of the Ware County High School Sounds of Harmony Gospel Choir, faculty advisor and founder of the Mentoring Program for Boys, and director of the Ware County High School award winning Jazz Band.

Pastor Bussey received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in September 1987.  He served as deacon for several years before accepting the call to preach in the fall of 1993. He preached his introductory sermon and received his ministerial license in January, 1994. In September of the same year under the leadership of the late Bishop Bussey, Sr., Pastor Bussey started a church, Victory Tabernacle. He served as interim pastor until his ordination on April 9, 1995.  Bishop Bussey, Sr., appointed him as pastor on April 30th.

After serving faithfully under the tutelage of Bishop & Evangelist Bussey, the Lord led Pastor Bussey to establish an independent ministry.  He founded Victory Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. on April 26, 1998. The local church was renamed Victory Temple.  Since that time, God has added to the ministry. A long-time friend of Pastor Bussey’s family,  Elder Charlie Slaton of Atlanta, Ga., united with Victory Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. shortly after its inception.  Miracle Temple, Pearson, Georgia, was founded in February 2002, and in April 2005, following the death of their Pastor Juanita Monroe, the officers of Faith Temple asked Pastor Bussey to serve as their pastor and overseer. Faith Temple is located in Blackshear, Georgia.

Pastor Bussey is married to the former Crystal Ann Norman of Dixie, Georgia and they are the parents of Albert Lee III, Anthony Lamont, Andrew Lewis, and Amber Victoria.  Their daughter, Victoria Michelle, was stillborn April 27, 1998.

“To God be the Glory” for the things He has done.
